Part of our vision is to see Igreja Missão Mundial become a self-sustaining, self-propagating, outward looking church movement and we therefore tread a very fine line between project assistance and freebie handouts. We are striving to break down and destroy the “hand-out-mentality” that plays such a central role in missionary work in Africa.
We strongly believe in the empowerment of the local church members and the help we give is directed strongly toward achieving this objective. We therefore direct our efforts in the following ways:-
